Coming out of my cavern for a while.

Since last week, I've been in forced temporary "holidays" due to my physical condition and it should last for a couple of months. I'll pass on the shock and denial of my work-holic self, let's just say I'm still trying to adapt to the new situation. Friends and family keep saying it's the ideal occasion to go back to my hobbies (drawing and the like) but I guess I'm too preoccupied at the moment to fully apply my attention on that.
I have to rest as much as possible (understand "rest" as you like, as long as I'm not to remain laying all day long *cross fingers*) and I'm trying my best to comply.

Anyway, some weeks ago, I finished a commission that was buried under my multiple layers of procrastination and lack of motivation.

I tried my hand at a different CG coloring technic but the result is dubious.

I applied myself to some doodles too, but I'm not convinced so far. I guess that's because I'm trying too hard to take up my abandoned projects even though they're not to my current taste. *shrugs*

Manga rambles
I recently bought the french edition of Kichijouji Cafe drawn by the talented Kyoko Negishi. I had already fallen in love with the delirium of that boy's band eclectic team of waiters but I'm falling again when they speak my mother tongue XD
Also, I bought the other shoujo manga of that artist that was released at the same time, "Crimson Cross" (one-shot) and the change of style is as surprising as the plot is beautifully cruel. It's the story of a pious vampire hunter that is turned into a vampire and is desperately trying to chase down his mentor in revenge. The story is bittersweet and very sad. I was finishing it with the song "This Love" (Cruel Intentions soundtrack) in the background and it certainly added to the atmosphere TT___TT
Conclusion, I was very happy of my manga *wide grin*.

The very evening, I learned I had missed the release of Colors, which I was curious about. I'll look for it next time.
