I'm updating from work, because it's Saturday and there are no boss type people to yell at me and because this is very probably my last day at MBE. Ever. Which in some sick sort of way is pretty sad. But not sad enough to prevent me from searching for a real job for next summer ( Read more... )

hey not be random - i got your name from the Uccbutler board -
just wanted to let you know that im basically going thru the same thing you described in this journal (going to UCC, not with butler, traveling alone, worried about what the hell to do!)

Im doing early start in folklore and ethnology, living in castlewhite,

Awesome! I'm in Leeside, and arriving sometime in the afternoon on the 23rd...at least that's the plan anyway! See you in a ridiculously short amount of time :D

Wow i am also arriving the afternoon of the 23rd (a few days before the Butler kids I think) - my Irish cell is 0 868 590 020 (from inside Ireland - its a Piccell wireless phone, i got some flyer for it from UCC)

Feel free to give me a call if you don't feel like being the only lost american in Cork!

Hey that's excellent :D I have an Irish phone from a friend who went last year, as soon as I buy minutes or whatnot for it when I get there, I'll totally give you a call ^_^ What airline are you flying?

im going united airlines to Heathrow (eek) then aer lingus to cork - wow i cant believe ill be leaving for the airport in about 14 hours!
