[ StageDoor ] Day 2: NYC

Feb 03, 2007 17:07

Not much to report really. I'm at the AMA place and I really like it. But that's because there's free juice, coffee, water, and the Internet works without hassle. Check-ins still go a bit too slow than I would like, but at least we do OK.

The mood is a bit more frazzled here. There's a lot more schools here so people get all crazy in trying to hit the schools they came here for. I'm also in the peculiar position of being at a desk where everyone thinks I'm processing for all the schools. Good talking point for Emerson though.

Last night wasn't too eventful. Everyone I know here seems to be sick or out of town, so I walked around Times Sq. for a bit. Not that I'm a big fan of Times Square, but it's something to do. I try not to spend too late out since I'm back in at work starting 7:30am. Since it's the first leg of the tour, I want to save my energy for when we skip some time zones and really have to run around. Not to mention that my NYC crew isn't well either.

Tonight I'm plan-less. Well, not completely. I'll be taking my trip to Mecca after I pack up things around here.

If you're in NYC and not sick, call me at my 617 number!

And to leave you with a photo, here's me at our checkout station:
