Missed Connection
Last night was ragingamazon's party. I thought the party was later, but when I found out it started at 7, it was already 7:45. I ran out, got two six-packs of Harpoon UFO, took the T to Harvard Sq. and waited for the 75 bus.
While there, a woman walked into the station that struck my eye, and a conversation occurred after we got on the bus. The whole story unfolds in a missing connections post where you can read the details.
The party itself was fun. Though like all of her parties, I don't get much time to spend with ragingamazon herself. I did however make a new friend, her 'wife' devoken. Everyone should welcome her to my Flist.
We also watched two movies: Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) and Beautiful Boxer (2003). The latter getting the most reaction as it's about a transvestite boxer who boxes to fund his family and then his sex change operation. Good world cinema. :)
For today, I'm going to Best Buy to get a video switcher. Then I'll be able to plug in my Nintendo and Nintendo 64 systems and be able to switch without rewiring cords. I'll be getting a 4-port switch. That 4th port reserved for something special. Later tonight I'm invited to two parties. One is slyvie's housewarming party, another is a college party thrown by some goons. Apparently the first 10 goons get a special prize. slyvie's is at 7 and the Goon party is at 10, both are two blocks away, so I may make it to both. We'll see.
