I did nothing

So I didn't move to europe. I didn't go to Cincinnati. I moved back to Canton. I am not enrolled in a specific college right now, but will be by spring.

I decided two days before I was supposed to move to Cincinnati that I didn't want to go. I am genuinely glad that I didn't leave. So instead of moving into my dorm this last weekend I went to NYC with Abram to visit with Christine. She has an apartment in Manhattan. We parked at a park in ride in NJ that was about 15 miles from the George Washington Bridge and we both biked with all of our stuff on out backs to the bridge and then up over 100 blocks to her apartment. I blew out a tire before we got to the bridge, however we luckily had an extra and it happened one block south of a bike shop in NJ owned by a very nice french man.

Crossing the GW bridge on bike was exhilarating to say the least. However I am quite sure that I almost got hit by cars 20+ times throughout the entire 25 mile ride. However it was quite worth it, and most of the almost accidents were in the streets of NJ, which by the way are not quite conductive to biking and are all around in poor condition anyway.

The first night we were there we went to see the Microphones (also known as Mount Errie now). He was playing in an old church in Soho. I laughed when I got there because it was BYOB and most everyone brought 40s at the convenience shop just around the corner during intermission (myself included). I am unsure how to explain how good the Microphones were, however one girl said as we walked out "I saw Sigur Ros last night, and paid over $60.00. But this meant far more to me."

Saturday we slept until 3pm. We had also not slept since we had left Ohio at 11:00 pm on Thursday night. I mad screwdrivers with Abe and Cristine. They made pasta, we bought at the whole foods mart. We walked to a club named "Contempt", which is an Electronica, Goth, synth-pop club. It was their 20th anniversary black and white ball.

All I car to describe about the rest of the night of Saturday was that being inebriated in NYC and at the aforementioned club particularly was one of the single most confusing/fun moments I have had in a while.

Sunday we slept late. Walked around Manhattan. Bought "Atlas Shrugged" on CD at borders. Abe and I listened to 80% of the book on the 8 hour drive back, and through the city when we picked up our bikes. I got something new from the book, however I am to exhausted to discuss that at this time.

Things should be a mess right now. But I am no longer stressed in any fashion. I am glad for that.
