Craziness!
Life is in full swing! Everything is vibrant and beautiful (even in the rain!).
Yan and I spent last night at the South Street Seaport soaked in our raingear waiting to see whether or not Super Furry Animals would be playing a set. Eventually the rain took a break and the band played three openings, but once the rain returned they had to stop. It turns out that after we left they played an acoustic song and improv-ed about umbrellas, I wish I had seen it! Later, we ended up at Grimaldis in DUMBO, got some pizza to go, and came back here.
In high school I was really into seeing live music, but there wasn't much opportunity for it in college. Now that I'm back in the city I'm really enjoying going out to shows. I just bought tickets to Fiona Apple and Damien Rice in July and think I might end up going to the Arctic Monkeys show in a few weeks... I'm kind of excited!
