Let us all take a moment to celebrate my contact lenses.
I've had contacts for quite some time. At first, I loved them, and they were great. But I could never really wear them for very long - they were always quick to get sore and itchy, and I was always conscious of something being in my eye.
Then, last summer, I got a prescription change. And then something went wrong. I don't know what, but the vision was just wrong. So after months of to-ing and fro-ing from the Optician's, baffling everybody in my path because the prescription should have been absolutely fine, I saw a contact lense specialist over Christmas. He was just as baffled, but suggest I tried a different type of lense. I trialed them over the Christmas holidays, and now have had my prescription changed to these new lenses. I can see perfectly, and for the first time, I honestly would not know I have lenses in. I am sure this is how they're meant to be, now, I just never knew better with my old ones.
Long story short, I have new contact lenses. They are better than my old ones in every way. I love them a little. Now I shall go back to reading about the psychology of marriage and try not to insert Dean and Castiel into every situation I read about.
