Frida
I went to the Frida exhibition today at the Walker Art Center. Pretty cool to see her stuff in real life. If I can make it back again before the exhibition ends, I'd like to do it with the audio tour ($6). I didn't stay for as long as I wanted to today because my residents that I took with were done much sooner and I didn't want to keep them waiting. We actually got in free because we checked out Walker Art passes from our library. What a great deal. Otherwise, it would have costed $10 for me and $6 for each of the residents who are students.
One thing I don't understand is why Frida fell so hard for Diego Rivera and how he could get other women, including Frida's sister, to sleep with him. I don't care how well he painted, he looked creepy.
