CB: well, i was stuck inside an office all day, so...
TJ: i hear it's gonna be nice this weekend too! you don't have to work on the weekends, do you?
CB: no, but i hear it might rain on saturday...

LOL. when did i become such a debbie downer?

haha i think i deflated his cheeriness a bit. he was like "here's your receipt" and i tried to redeem myself by saying "have a good night!" lol.

Haha! That sounds like a lot of conversations I have with strangers. Always looking on the darker side of things...that's us, I guess!

yeah that's exactly it! i didn't realize i was being so negative until after i left and rehashed the interaction. then i felt bad because it was totally unintentional. :P lol.

well, being a debbie downer is probably better than being a black cloud. which was what my friend called me last weekend when i went to SF and we celebrated her bachelorette and bridal shower in that lovely wind and rain :)

it was pretty tame - they started saturday morning with a pastry dough class, when i arrived the bride-to-be made us yummy burmese-style noodles for lunch (she and her fiance are ALL about food). then we went to a burlesque class, which was pretty fun. we had dinner at a place called maya, and then we just crashed at parc 55 hotel. no bar-hopping or anything. there were only 4-5 of us, since a couple of her bridesmaids got snowed in in boston!
