So for Christmas Nate got me a kitty. We went to several shelters (we were originally going to get one as a congratulations on the day I got hired permanently full time at Paramount, but, as with most plans involving Nate and something he wants/wants to get me, that didn't happen) and ended up adopting a little 2 month old kitty who weighs slightly less than 2 lbs. We haven't named her yet, but were thinking Ripley or Delilah (got to continue the tradition of naming our animals after songs), but now we're leaning more towards Tessie (again, with the naming after songs). But there is a part of me that doesn't feel that Tessie is right.
She is a little shy, and a little sick (hence the crusties on her nose), but she's incredibly mellow and very very cuddly. And she's a big cutey poo, boo boo kitty.
L'photos:
Taken sans flash, just so I could get one with her eyes open.
You can get a better idea of her coloring. She reminds me of my kitty in Michigan, Drusilla, a little bit.
She sleeps on my belly.
You can get an idea of how small she is.
