I haven't written anything meaningful in a while... and I'm not going to start tonight.
Why? Because I nearly doused my drawers when I received this message in my hotmail account:
"Some of you may already know that the Boston Bruins first game of the season was Wednesday October 8th. In attendance at this game was some of the Bruins most diehard fans - the Dropkick Murphys. Anyone who is familiar with the Dropkick Murphys will know their passion for hockey so it is with much excitement and anticipation that we announce an event that brings the two together in their home town of Boston.
In what is possibly the first punk rock hockey concert ever Dropkick Murphys will perform live at the Fleet Center on Saturday November 15th immediately after the Boston Bruins game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Dropkick Murphys' set is sure to include their Boston Bruins anthem "Time To Go" played live in front of the team and fans they wrote it for. Expect a great night with lots of surprises, who knows maybe even some of the players will join in on stage for a song or two!"
