yea it's my first post in this community and i feel im taking a risk with this poem its very raw so tell me wat you think!!! It's called "Love is"
What is love
Is it giving someone yourself
Completely without selfishness
I dont think so
Many people think love is sex
Because of this misinterpretation
How can love be sex
Lovelessly, I'll give myself
To many hot movie stars
love is when you see someone
And it makes your day to see them
When a smile punches your heart
Or having a conversation makes you swoon
Yet you have been dating for months
Love is going to the extreme
For someone you hardly know
Love is at times impossible
To keep your hands to yourself
And at others just talking
And being amazed at what the other says
Even if it was the same idea you had
Love is dying so another can live
Love is being poor and being thankful
Love is breathing
While you are holding your breathe
