The Day I Met Adam Lambert
As some of you might know, I won a pair of VIP tickets and Meet & Greet passes from the Ripplevox contest (thank you!!!). Basically I had to tell them why I deserved to go and my submission was pretty much a resume application for the job of The Ultimate Fangirl. It was actually borderline cray cray. Haha, a Hail Mary pass, really. And it worked! \o/
I brought starry_glitter as my plus one and gave my winning ticket from the lucky draw to silvercosmicz. I’m not sure how I got so lucky, be right back, buying lottery tickets. silvercosmicz and I made Adam and Tommy matching necklaces! We’ve been working on them for a while. Actually silvercosmicz slaved over them, I just helped pick out some materials. XD I am simply artistically challenged. Here’s a photo of the necklaces!

I was told to be at the huge globe at the entrance of Universal Studios at 6:15 p.m. so that they could bring us in. Joined Pauline (@ooipau), queen of the Singapore Adam fans, there. I’d met her previously to pick up my Collector’s Edition of Adam’s CD. :D While waiting, we saw something like 100 people running off and screaming. Yes, real life actualfax flailing. O__O Adam was waving at the fans through the glass door, but we were still stuck outside. *__* We were finally ushered into Universal Studios after about an hour and got to take photos outside the Hollywood Pantages Theatre where Adam would be performing. I’m quite tickled that Adam performed “Wicked” in L.A. at the Pantages as well!

Thankfully, we didn’t have to join the queue. However, Star World (a regional Cable TV channel) asked us to film a TV spot. DDD: Fact: Put a camera in front of me and I crap in my pants. After much squirming and pleading, Pauline and I still ended up doing it. They asked us questions about how we were feeling etc. and I froze (I’m sorry, Ripplevox! This is why I’m writing this really long recap!!!). I mean, they asked me what I wrote in my submission. No way am I repeating that on TV. NO WAY. DDDDDD: All they got out of me was a “Thank you!!!” shout-out with Pauline. I am now praying I messed that up so badly that the Editor is going to leave it on the cutting room floor.
We hung around a little more after that was over before they started ushering us through the side entrance. That’s when I saw the cosplayers!! Here’s a group photo of them after the concert. Fantasy Springs LAMBLIFF!!!
They then let us go inside in groups. I was in the last group as we were supposed to be “special” and get more time. Apparently the organizers felt bad because we were supposed to have gone for the soundcheck the day before but they had to reschedule. Just as well, I think I would have been shaking and crying the whole time as we’d only found out in the morning that day that we’d won. And Adam would have thought that Singapore was full of cray cray Glamberts. Do not want.
AND THIS IS WHEN THE EPIC STUFF STARTS HAPPENING.
As the groups in front of us were going in, MONTE AND LONGINEU WALKED OUT TO SAY HI TO THE FANS!!!! Crash course for those not in the fandom, Monte is Adam’s (and Madonna’s) guitarist. Longineu (LP) is his drummer and he used to play for Yellowcard. Monte has really nice eyes! LP is so cool but he’s a little on the quiet side. Adam was spot-on when he described LP in the Donors Choose chat. Oh and LP’s not as tall as I thought he was, I guess it’s because he’s always sitting on the raised drum set. Monte’s very chatty! The Monte cosplayer walked over and told Monte he was the one who tweeted him saying he bought his “The Deepest Dark” CD and wanted him to sign it. Monte was so ecstatic! (You can see his tweet about it after here.) Two girls then went over and asked Monte and LP to sign their CDs. At which point I started wailing to starry_glitter as I didn’t bring a CD because they told me they would give us one for Adam to sign. Nooooo…
We went over to them next and I hugged Monte and LP! What everyone says is true. Monte is VERY HUGGABLE. ♥ Oh and my hand brushed past LP’s dreds when I hugged him! I touched LP’s dreds!!!one1!! We then took a picture!
It wasn’t our turn to go in yet so we started chatting with Monte and LP! Monte said he loved my eye makeup. *insert flail* ♥__♥ Haha, you can’t see it in the pictures, but I had gold glitter all over, black sparkly shadow, lined with black and silver glitter, and had those false lashes that fan sideways. Yup, completely overdone, but how dare you attend an Adam Lambert concert without glitter, right? As Adam says, “More is more.” I thanked him and said I “tarted up”!! And Monte LAUGHED. *___* OMG, HOLD ME NOW. (BTW, to those of you who don’t know that quote from Velvet Goldmine, I am sorry about your lives. Both Adam and Tommy say it’s their favorite movie, and Adam and Tommy are practically living, breathing, larger than life, Velvet Goldmine. “Rock ‘n’ Roll is a prostitute, it should be tarted up.”)
I told Monte I LOVE “Rain is Falling” and he got really happy and said “thank you!!”. I love LOVE love that recording of Monte and Tommy in Pete’s Candy store in New York where he sang it and he said that he wrote that song because it doesn’t rain often in L.A. ♥ I then asked Monte if he was doing an open mic in Singapore, and he said that he couldn’t because they were flying off in the early morning the next day. It was somewhere around this time that they started asking us to go in so we had to say goodbye to Monte and LP, sadly.
At which point I got slightly upset that TOMMY wasn’t with Adam on the International Promo. We could have met Tommy!!! D’: /sad!panda /Tombert
They passed us the CDs and A2-sized posters of Adam as we were going in and, as we were waiting in the passageway, Monte and LP walked by!!! Monte asked if we were staying for the show and we said, “Of course!” Oh Monte, need you even ask? Haha. He then said, “See you later!” as they went in. ♥ I am now officially a Monte stan.
AND NOW, WE ENTER THE ROOM AND I SEE ADAM LAMBERT.

He was a little further down the corridor, standing by the wall. Adam was wearing a heavy black jacket with shoulder details and white fingerless gloves. There were several people in front of us so we got to watch. Adam was wearing his Dior ombre jeans from the “For Your Entertainment” video, which also happened to be playing on loop on the plasma screen. Those pants in real life: stunning. Lane (Adam’s personal assistant, really pretty) was standing close to Adam, and Josh was leaning against the wall in the back of the room.
Okay, back to Adam!! He was talking to a female fan when he suddenly said that it was really hot in here and proceeded to strip off his gloves (inner cray cray screams, “Take it all off!!”). It turned out to be quite an arduous task! Adam started laughing as they couldn’t come off and he kept saying they were “stuck”. LOLOL. (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ
Soon, it was my turn to go! Okay, this is the part you guys are the most interested in, yes? I’ll try to describe this in excruciating detail so you can pretend you were there.
There was about a 6m space between the four of us and Adam. I walked over and Adam was beaming, he’s so goddamn gorgeous in person, okay? You know in that movie “27 Dresses” where James Marsden says that when he’s at a wedding and everyone turns to look at the bride coming down the aisle, he doesn’t but instead looks at the groom? Okay, picture Adam smiling at you with a gorgeous grin on his face. Yup, great mental image. You’re welcome. I said, “Hiiii…” while walking over like a complete idiot. Adam said “Hi!” as well with a nice big smile and once I got to him I did the most important thing: I hugged Adam Lambert. He’s really tall. 185cm, right? But with his heels, at least somewhere around 190cm, I’d say. I was in stripper heels and he still had to bend down when he hugged me. Adam is a great hugger, full chest-to-chest kind of hug, and he felt really warm and lean. AND ADAM LAMBERT SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN. OMG, I think I got a little weak in the knees. *__* I’ll say it right now. I want to buy a bottle of Dior Homme for every guy out there and go, “Take this, please use it forever. You’ll thank me later.” SERIOUSLY. All those interviewers were not exaggerating when they said Adam smells good. He smells really REALLY good. All you Adam stans out there, please go spray some Dior Homme on your pillows right now. Adam smells like “top notes of lavender, sage, and bergamot; a heart of iris, cocoa, and amber with a vetiver, patchouli, and leather drydown.” So basically, all your favourite things in the world. I think I’m going to buy a bottle tomorrow. And some stocks in Dior.
Haha, in retrospect, I’d describe that moment as “OMG Adam is real. He’s not just a figment of our imagination living behind a screen.” And he’s not a unicorn, or a glittery alien from Planet Fierce. Adam is tall and warm and smells amazing and oh God why am I not a gay man?!ヽ(≧▽≦)/
So yes, time to let go before they call security on me. Let’s imagine this one last time. Hug Adam Lambert, breathe in that intoxicating waft of Dior Homme, hold for a couple of seconds, and let go. Then Adam looked me in the eye and said, “I love your eye makeup.”

By then I was so starstruck I couldn’t think of anything witty to say, I don’t know why I couldn’t even throw that Velvet Goldmine quote back at him. I think my brain left the building. All I managed was, “Thank you” with a huge cheesy grin on my face. He then took my poster and asked for my name and I said, “Pamela”. From this point on I couldn’t really look at Adam any longer. Looking at Adam is like staring at the sun, you take a peek, then you look away. So I entertained myself by staring at his hands. He had this really nice chunky metal bracelet on made of a thick twisted chain. Oh and Adam was wearing several metal necklaces layered on each other, really fab. Adam finished signing my poster and I pulled out our necklaces.
“My friend and I made these necklaces for you and Tommy. This is for you…” *hands him the one with the metal chain*
“It’s beautiful! Thank you.” HOLY CRAP, ADAM LOVES THE NECKLACE. silvercosmicz, DO YOU HEAR THAT?!! Your necklaces are ADAM APPROVED. Please go make more and sell them on eBay. \o/\o/
“And this is for Tommy.”
“Thank you. They’re beautiful.” Adam was smiling and REALLY looking at the necklaces and admiring them the whole time. And he said “thank you” a couple more times after he was done looking. I know he gets truckloads of gifts, but I was just really happy that he genuinely seemed to like ours. ♥
At this point I mentioned to him that we’re so sad that Tommy didn’t come and he said he’ll definitely bring Tommy along the next time for the full concert. YES, FULL CONCERT!!! He confirmed it with me first, mmkay? Lalala. XD And let me just say now that if they censor the onstage Lambliff shenanigans in Singapore, WE WILL RAGE. So while we were on the subject of Tommy, I pulled out the photo of Adam and Tommy from the “For Your Entertainment” music video shoot and asked Adam to sign it (while hiding it behind stuff so the PR people didn’t see it).
“Please address it to Team Lambliff.”
“Team wha~?”
“Lambliff.”
“Oh! That’s such a cute name!!” I died. Badgers from teamlambliff, this one is for you:
LOL, I just realized that he missed out a "b" in "Lambliff". Who cares!! \o/\o/\o/ Tommy calls us his Badger “pose” instead of “posse”. We’re the Team Lamliff Badger Pose, okay? Who needs spell-check when you have Lambliff.
“And here’s fanmail.” Adam said thank you. ♥ Okay, I totally wrote it because I knew as much that I was going to just be standing there saying “thank you” ten thousand times. Yup. So right now one of the assistants comes over with a basket to take the things I’d passed to Adam. And as Adam was putting the stuff in, he noticed the guitar pick on his necklace that was hanging off the long chain.
Adam took it in his hand and went, “Oh, a guitar pick!! I love it. It’s beautiful, thank you.” *__* The photographer then started to hurry us by reminding us that we had to take the photo. Adam signed my CD, we took a couple of photos, and I was off.

Oh yes, Adam stood really close the whole time. The position we were in for that photo? The only difference between that and when we were chatting is that he didn’t have his arm around me. Adam never believes in personal space, thank you @God.
Pauline went last and she chatted with Adam for pretty long. She later said it was because she ignored the photographer whenever he wanted to snap the picture. Shit, why did I feel bad about holding up the line? WHY, Self?!! D: I actually don’t remember the Adam Experience very well, it was a blur of thank you’s and smiles and he's so sweet and oh shit he’s pretty and how is this real life?? I don’t even remember his makeup. starry_glitter says all she remembers is eyeliner. Adam’s conversation voice sounds slightly higher pitch in real life, I could listen to it for hours. Anyway, I’ve concluded that the human brain cannot process Adam Lambert; we can only take him in little bits at a time.
We were then ushered to our seats. They were the fourth row from the front, extreme left. The theatre was still quite empty as the fans weren’t let in yet. We must have waited about 45 minutes before they came in. I heard they managed to see the pyrotechnic display outside, though! While waiting, Serene, Pauline’s plus one, talked to her friend who was helping out with the event and she said that Adam was changing outfits! The 500 lucky fans were eventually let in and they were all in the upper level of the venue.

Glenn Ong from Class 95 was the host that night. The dancers from O-School were the opening act. You might remember them, they’re the Singapore dance group Adam tweeted about a few months ago who choreographed a dance to “For Your Entertainment”. They performed a mash up of “Fever” and “For Your Entertainment”, complete with the pimp canes. Pretty awesome. And finally, after a little more banter, Adam came on! Of course, everyone went insane. Adam had changed into a black sequined jacket. The host got Adam to pick 5 tickets from a bowl and those fans got to come down to the stage to meet Adam! Oh, and the fans booed in a lulzy manner when the final number was called, haha.
The host then started teaching Adam some Singlish as the fans made their way down. He taught Adam “wah piang eh” and told him he should have said that when they booed after the last ticket number was read. He said it meant “Oh my God”. O RLY? I thought it means “WTF?!!”. Haha, kids in the audience. The host taught him a few more and basically he’d tell him the word, Adam would repeat it, and he’d ask him to guess the meaning. Adam was actually really good at pronouncing the words and guessing what they meant! Haha except for “pai seh”. The host told him you say it when you’re red in the face and Adam went, “Oh, when you’re drunk?” LOL FOREVER. Oh Adam, trust you to say that!!! Pai seh actually means “embarrassed”. XD
The fans then came on the stage one at a time to hug Adam and get a poster, and OMG all the girls glomped him. Like, with their arms around his neck! One of them even dry-humped him!!! At which point the four of us started lamenting that we completely wasted our time with Adam. #1 Fans? YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. Why were we being all PC when we were in the presence of Adam “I lost my filter” Lambert? What was wrong with us?!! DDD: OMG turn back the clock and let me do it over! Siiiigh. It also completely slipped my mind to say that I loved his new helix piercing. Greatest regret: I didn’t even tell him that I love him. :’(
Adam left the stage to get ready and we were seated on the side where they would enter and leave so we got to see Adam walk by each time! Then finally, the concert! Adam came out with Monte and LP. Monte was on our side and LP had his drums where Tommy would usually play. Acoustic concert. In retrospect, it was all kinds of awesome. Really, how often do you get to see songs performed acoustic at concerts? Adam sang beautifully, as if you didn’t know that. I mean, when I die and if I make it to heaven, if the choirs of angels at the gates don’t sound like Adam Lambert, I might ask for my money back. The stripped down “Mad World” reggae version was fantastic. saphireslit said she cried during “Sleepwalker”. :’) The set-list was “Music Again”, “Whataya Want From Me”, “Sleepwalker”, “Broken Open”, and “Mad World”.

Monte was so into it and really jamming through the songs! And Adam and Monte looked over to us very often because we were making the most noise. \o/ Seeing Adam smile at you while singing? Priceless. Serene brought a light-up sign of Adam’s name and at one point Adam looked over and said he loved it. \o/\o/

Adam got a standing ovation at the end of “Mad World” and, as they walked off the stage, Adam, Monte and LP waved at us and I swear Monte pointed at me, mmkay? XD I waved at them like an idiot with hearts in mah eyes. ♥__♥
The host came back on and said he had a present for Adam. A disc for going Gold in Singapore! This makes it Adam’s first official Gold Record presentation, yes? \o/ The screams were deafening.

I love Monte’s tweet about it after. :’) Adam went off again, and we started chanting for an encore. So yay, the host brought Adam came back! He said they really thought they weren’t doing anymore songs, so they performed “Down the Rabbit Hole” without rehearsing. No lyric change to “it starts with his bass and ends in my crystal ball”, Adam sang the original lyric. Alas, another reminder that Tommy wasn’t there. Adam broke into this little dance towards the end, loved it!
And that was the end of the concert! Got to meet m_ia_n and some other people after the show! Tried tweeting Monte and LP to come out for drinks and did a shout-out for Ripplevox with starry_glitter that hopefully never sees the light of day. XD
I got to spend time with Adam, watch his first showcase here, and meet online friends IRL. The whole experience was pretty much perfect. :’)

I got all these tweets on Twitter today sending me pictures of Adam at Boy George’s Single Launch Party wearing the necklace with the guitar pick and peacock feather details that we gave him. I couldn’t stop wiping the tears from my eyes when I saw it. I would have been so happy if Adam had just worn it shopping or at a concert with Tommy. But he actually debuted it at BOY GEORGE’S party. I don’t even… :''') A part of me thought Adam was just being sweet telling me that he thought it was beautiful, but he ACTUALLY wore it to such an important event. Adam really does love it... And he even did his eye makeup to match the peacock feather… Be still, my heart. ♥ He even remembered which necklace was his. :') It means so much to silvercosmicz and I, it really does. This whole experience has felt like some kind of fairytale. I’m sorry I couldn’t get the words out of my mouth when I met you, but I love you, Adam. :') ♥
And to all the really sweet people out there in the world who tweeted me saying they loved my recap and asked if the necklace Adam was wearing is the one I gave him… I love you, too. I’m just so happy that people enjoyed reading this. But that you guys actually remembered how the necklace looks like? Words fail me. Okay, back to Adam!! He was talking to a female fan when he suddenly said that it was really hot in here and proceeded to strip off his gloves (inner cray cray screams, “Take it all off!!”). It turned out to be quite an arduous task! Adam started laughing as they couldn’t come off and he kept saying they were “stuck”. LOLOL. (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ
Soon, it was my turn to go! Okay, this is the part you guys are the most interested in, yes? I’ll try to describe this in excruciating detail so you can pretend you were there.
There was about a 6m space between the four of us and Adam. I walked over and Adam was beaming, he’s so goddamn gorgeous in person, okay? You know in that movie “27 Dresses” where James Marsden says that when he’s at a wedding and everyone turns to look at the bride coming down the aisle, he doesn’t but instead looks at the groom? Okay, picture Adam smiling at you with a gorgeous grin on his face. Yup, great mental image. You’re welcome. I said, “Hiiii…” while walking over like a complete idiot. Adam said “Hi!” as well with a nice big smile and once I got to him I did the most important thing: I hugged Adam Lambert. He’s really tall. 185cm, right? But with his heels, at least somewhere around 190cm, I’d say. I was in stripper heels and he still had to bend down when he hugged me. Adam is a great hugger, full chest-to-chest kind of hug, and he felt really warm and lean. AND ADAM LAMBERT SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN. OMG, I think I got a little weak in the knees. *__* I’ll say it right now. I want to buy a bottle of Dior Homme for every guy out there and go, “Take this, please use it forever. You’ll thank me later.” SERIOUSLY. All those interviewers were not exaggerating when they said Adam smells good. He smells really REALLY good. All you Adam stans out there, please go spray some Dior Homme on your pillows right now. Adam smells like “top notes of lavender, sage, and bergamot; a heart of iris, cocoa, and amber with a vetiver, patchouli, and leather drydown.” So basically, all your favourite things in the world. I think I’m going to buy a bottle tomorrow. And some stocks in Dior.
Haha, in retrospect, I’d describe that moment as “OMG Adam is real. He’s not just a figment of our imagination living behind a screen.” And he’s not a unicorn, or a glittery alien from Planet Fierce. Adam is tall and warm and smells amazing and oh God why am I not a gay man?!ヽ(≧▽≦)/
So yes, time to let go before they call security on me. Let’s imagine this one last time. Hug Adam Lambert, breathe in that intoxicating waft of Dior Homme, hold for a couple of seconds, and let go. Then Adam looked me in the eye and said, “I love your eye makeup.”

By then I was so starstruck I couldn’t think of anything witty to say, I don’t know why I couldn’t even throw that Velvet Goldmine quote back at him. I think my brain left the building. All I managed was, “Thank you” with a huge cheesy grin on my face. He then took my poster and asked for my name and I said, “Pamela”. From this point on I couldn’t really look at Adam any longer. Looking at Adam is like staring at the sun, you take a peek, then you look away. So I entertained myself by staring at his hands. He had this really nice chunky metal bracelet on made of a thick twisted chain. Oh and Adam was wearing several metal necklaces layered on each other, really fab. Adam finished signing my poster and I pulled out our necklaces.
“My friend and I made these necklaces for you and Tommy. This is for you…” *hands him the one with the metal chain*
“It’s beautiful! Thank you.” HOLY CRAP, ADAM LOVES THE NECKLACE. silvercosmicz, DO YOU HEAR THAT?!! Your necklaces are ADAM APPROVED. Please go make more and sell them on eBay. \o/\o/
“And this is for Tommy.”
“Thank you. They’re beautiful.” Adam was smiling and REALLY looking at the necklaces and admiring them the whole time. And he said “thank you” a couple more times after he was done looking. I know he gets truckloads of gifts, but I was just really happy that he genuinely seemed to like ours. ♥
At this point I mentioned to him that we’re so sad that Tommy didn’t come and he said he’ll definitely bring Tommy along the next time for the full concert. YES, FULL CONCERT!!! He confirmed it with me first, mmkay? Lalala. XD And let me just say now that if they censor the onstage Lambliff shenanigans in Singapore, WE WILL RAGE. So while we were on the subject of Tommy, I pulled out the photo of Adam and Tommy from the “For Your Entertainment” music video shoot and asked Adam to sign it (while hiding it behind stuff so the PR people didn’t see it).
“Please address it to Team Lambliff.”
“Team wha~?”
“Lambliff.”
“Oh! That’s such a cute name!!” I died. Badgers from teamlambliff, this one is for you:
LOL, I just realized that he missed out a "b" in "Lambliff". Who cares!! \o/\o/\o/ Tommy calls us his Badger “pose” instead of “posse”. We’re the Team Lamliff Badger Pose, okay? Who needs spell-check when you have Lambliff.
“And here’s fanmail.” Adam said thank you. ♥ Okay, I totally wrote it because I knew as much that I was going to just be standing there saying “thank you” ten thousand times. Yup. So right now one of the assistants comes over with a basket to take the things I’d passed to Adam. And as Adam was putting the stuff in, he noticed the guitar pick on his necklace that was hanging off the long chain.
Adam took it in his hand and went, “Oh, a guitar pick!! I love it. It’s beautiful, thank you.” *__* The photographer then started to hurry us by reminding us that we had to take the photo. Adam signed my CD, we took a couple of photos, and I was off.

Oh yes, Adam stood really close the whole time. The position we were in for that photo? The only difference between that and when we were chatting is that he didn’t have his arm around me. Adam never believes in personal space, thank you @God.
Pauline went last and she chatted with Adam for pretty long. She later said it was because she ignored the photographer whenever he wanted to snap the picture. Shit, why did I feel bad about holding up the line? WHY, Self?!! D: I actually don’t remember the Adam Experience very well, it was a blur of thank you’s and smiles and he's so sweet and oh shit he’s pretty and how is this real life?? I don’t even remember his makeup. starry_glitter says all she remembers is eyeliner. Adam’s conversation voice sounds slightly higher pitch in real life, I could listen to it for hours. Anyway, I’ve concluded that the human brain cannot process Adam Lambert; we can only take him in little bits at a time.
We were then ushered to our seats. They were the fourth row from the front, extreme left. The theatre was still quite empty as the fans weren’t let in yet. We must have waited about 45 minutes before they came in. I heard they managed to see the pyrotechnic display outside, though! While waiting, Serene, Pauline’s plus one, talked to her friend who was helping out with the event and she said that Adam was changing outfits! The 500 lucky fans were eventually let in and they were all in the upper level of the venue.

Glenn Ong from Class 95 was the host that night. The dancers from O-School were the opening act. You might remember them, they’re the Singapore dance group Adam tweeted about a few months ago who choreographed a dance to “For Your Entertainment”. They performed a mash up of “Fever” and “For Your Entertainment”, complete with the pimp canes. Pretty awesome. And finally, after a little more banter, Adam came on! Of course, everyone went insane. Adam had changed into a black sequined jacket. The host got Adam to pick 5 tickets from a bowl and those fans got to come down to the stage to meet Adam! Oh, and the fans booed in a lulzy manner when the final number was called, haha.
The host then started teaching Adam some Singlish as the fans made their way down. He taught Adam “wah piang eh” and told him he should have said that when they booed after the last ticket number was read. He said it meant “Oh my God”. O RLY? I thought it means “WTF?!!”. Haha, kids in the audience. The host taught him a few more and basically he’d tell him the word, Adam would repeat it, and he’d ask him to guess the meaning. Adam was actually really good at pronouncing the words and guessing what they meant! Haha except for “pai seh”. The host told him you say it when you’re red in the face and Adam went, “Oh, when you’re drunk?” LOL FOREVER. Oh Adam, trust you to say that!!! Pai seh actually means “embarrassed”. XD
The fans then came on the stage one at a time to hug Adam and get a poster, and OMG all the girls glomped him. Like, with their arms around his neck! One of them even dry-humped him!!! At which point the four of us started lamenting that we completely wasted our time with Adam. #1 Fans? YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. Why were we being all PC when we were in the presence of Adam “I lost my filter” Lambert? What was wrong with us?!! DDD: OMG turn back the clock and let me do it over! Siiiigh. It also completely slipped my mind to say that I loved his new helix piercing. Greatest regret: I didn’t even tell him that I love him. :’(
Adam left the stage to get ready and we were seated on the side where they would enter and leave so we got to see Adam walk by each time! Then finally, the concert! Adam came out with Monte and LP. Monte was on our side and LP had his drums where Tommy would usually play. Acoustic concert. In retrospect, it was all kinds of awesome. Really, how often do you get to see songs performed acoustic at concerts? Adam sang beautifully, as if you didn’t know that. I mean, when I die and if I make it to heaven, if the choirs of angels at the gates don’t sound like Adam Lambert, I might ask for my money back. The stripped down “Mad World” reggae version was fantastic. saphireslit said she cried during “Sleepwalker”. :’) The set-list was “Music Again”, “Whataya Want From Me”, “Sleepwalker”, “Broken Open”, and “Mad World”.

Monte was so into it and really jamming through the songs! And Adam and Monte looked over to us very often because we were making the most noise. \o/ Seeing Adam smile at you while singing? Priceless. Serene brought a light-up sign of Adam’s name and at one point Adam looked over and said he loved it. \o/\o/

Adam got a standing ovation at the end of “Mad World” and, as they walked off the stage, Adam, Monte and LP waved at us and I swear Monte pointed at me, mmkay? XD I waved at them like an idiot with hearts in mah eyes. ♥__♥
The host came back on and said he had a present for Adam. A disc for going Gold in Singapore! This makes it Adam’s first official Gold Record presentation, yes? \o/ The screams were deafening.

I love Monte’s tweet about it after. :’) Adam went off again, and we started chanting for an encore. So yay, the host brought Adam came back! He said they really thought they weren’t doing anymore songs, so they performed “Down the Rabbit Hole” without rehearsing. No lyric change to “it starts with his bass and ends in my crystal ball”, Adam sang the original lyric. Alas, another reminder that Tommy wasn’t there. Adam broke into this little dance towards the end, loved it!
And that was the end of the concert! Got to meet m_ia_n and some other people after the show! Tried tweeting Monte and LP to come out for drinks and did a shout-out for Ripplevox with starry_glitter that hopefully never sees the light of day. XD
I got to spend time with Adam, watch his first showcase here, and meet online friends IRL. The whole experience was pretty much perfect. :’)

I got all these tweets on Twitter today sending me pictures of Adam at Boy George’s Single Launch Party wearing the necklace with the guitar pick and peacock feather details that we gave him. I couldn’t stop wiping the tears from my eyes when I saw it. I would have been so happy if Adam had just worn it shopping or at a concert with Tommy. But he actually debuted it at BOY GEORGE’S party. I don’t even… :''') A part of me thought Adam was just being sweet telling me that he thought it was beautiful, but he ACTUALLY wore it to such an important event. Adam really does love it... And he even did his eye makeup to match the peacock feather… Be still, my heart. ♥ He even remembered which necklace was his. :') It means so much to silvercosmicz and I, it really does. This whole experience has felt like some kind of fairytale. I’m sorry I couldn’t get the words out of my mouth when I met you, but I love you, Adam. :') ♥
And to all the really sweet people out there in the world who tweeted me saying they loved my recap and asked if the necklace Adam was wearing is the one I gave him… I love you, too. I’m just so happy that people enjoyed reading this. But that you guys actually remembered how the necklace looks like? Words fail me. Do know that I love every one of your comments/tweets with all my heart. ♥
