Internet Observations
A couple of observations from following metafandom links, coupled with reading some internet message boards:
1) I have absolutely no idea what "meta" actually means. It seems to have a different use in each area of the internet. Anyone care to give it a shot and explain the term?
2) I am one the very few people whose parents actually sat her down and explained sex at a timely age (9 or 10), complete with physical descriptions. The sex-ed classes in grade school were also pretty descriptive, which is odd considering they were in DOD schools. Anyway, I did not have to learn about sex from tv, movies, books, manga, or experimentation, unlike the (seemingly) majority of the internet. Not sure what this means, except the world is going to hell or something but I already knew that.
