The American Dream

I’m too excited to verbalize.  We are homeowners again.  Most of you don’t realize what that actually means.  A few of you thoroughly understand my unnatural excitement. Think four story ladders, Mt McKinley, or other abnormal heights, that is our climb back to homeownership.

There are two aspects of this house that ‘sold’ it to me.

The first is the awesome, extra wide entry hall:

The next is the feeling of opulence mixed with déjà vu when I turned down this hall, the 'childrens' wing':

Maybe I have a thing for halls.  Not really sure.  I’ll explore it one day.  But for now I’m excited as heck to share the halls owned by ME and my family.  (Most of) the kids and I laid on the driveway and discussed ducks as the two drakes and the girl duck argued, danced, chased and postured around us.

Here are the kids trying to figure out who the new (high school) neighbor is:

Eventually the little, middle-schooler sister walked out of her house solving the identity puzzle for all the age groups in my clan.

I love our new house and I’m so happy to be a homeowner.  I hope to live in this address until I die or they build skyscrapers around me.
