Who is this?
London born and raised. Graduated from Cambridge. Success in children’s writing was achieved after four books in verse were published (I’d tell you which ones but I’d hand you the answer!). Also a prolific essayist, novelist and playwright. Died in 1956.
Update on my phobia. Thanks to Need, and Carrie Jones, I now know that photophobia is the fear of light. Unfortunately, I still haven’t learned the proper phobia name for the fear of having your picture taken. Perhaps shutterphobia?
eHopes and eDreams
After several read-throughs, forward and backward, I felt the masterpiece was ready to submit! Exultant, I prepared it to the specifications outlined on the submission procedure. I wrote a concise cover that shared brief but impertinent details about the piece and me as the author. I crafted the email, spell-checked everything and blew a kiss to the screen as I hit SEND.
Now the waiting starts.
