After watching The O.C. for a year and a half and 6 years of Dawson's Creek I have finally decided on the winner of the Cohen/Witter battle. Though already decided in the past, I was still hesitant on my decision because I think I was a little blinded. I know I'm a little crazy for even posting something so stupid but it has to be known who and why this decision has been made. Cut me some slack here, I've got therapy and 9 months of complete singlehood ahead of me lol See there's Seth Cohen who has made geekhood adorable, witty, and absolutely swoonworthy. He's got the curly hair, the awkward yet handsome features, quick-witted sarcasm, comic book obsession, and even his own pet horse. He likes emo music, he makes everyone laugh, he's rich, he wears great attire, he has an adorable smile, and of course manages to win the hottest girl in school. No one understands why. Then there's Pacey Witter the supposed "bad boy" but not really. Oh Pacey. He's unpredictable, incredibly intelligent, passionate, amazingly handsome with killer blue eyes and a smile that could instantly melt a girl's heart. He's patient, faithful, inspired by love, and gentle. Better yet, he loves kids and he's strong-willed, emotional when appropriate, and hilarious beyond all belief. Then, He falls in love with the woman he can't have that belongs to his best friend but after much patience and support as a friend, she chooses him in the end. It can't get any better than that. So who's the winner of the Pacey/Seth battle? Well Pacey couldn't keep his grades up, lost his V-card to a teacher, has a temper, as I said fell for his best friend's soulmate, never made it to college, and runs away from his problems. Seth-well he uses humor to get out of everything, talks about himself immensely, wins the girl for self benefit over what is good for them both, whines more than a 5 year old, and also runs away from his problems. But what they both have going is their boats...naming them after what they hope for...Summer and True Love. That's a good way to win a girl haha. J/k... Well, after much indecision and true persuasion by my tv drama confidant, I'm gonna agree on Pacey. See I decided this last night while I was watching the O.C. and I realized how annoying Seth really is. Cute yes, tolerable, no. He makes me want to shoot him and his humor has lost its charm. Maybe it's the loss of ratings and bad script writing but if u can love Pacey even when he sleeps with a teacher and flunks outta school, then Kevin Williamson was doing something right here. Plus 6 years goes a long way unlike the near death sentence with the o.c. Sorry guys, the beach rocks and the cast is hot with some fun scandal, but nothing beats the small town crew from the creek with their big words and believeable acting that makes me cry at least once an episode. Lesbian action, cheating spouses, big parties ending with a fight, short skirts, skimpy tops, incestual rendevouz, warm coastal winds across the beach, club concerts, and emo plaids just won't do the job anymore. Dawson's Creek has it all over those So-Cal cheap scandalists.

P.S. I'm sorry that I have nothing better to do during my alone time. Give me a break here lol.
