Bucket of Cold Water
So today was my first day back at school (officially) and my schedule looks like this:
Per 1 Honors American Lit Comp [which is code for AP English]
Per 2 Honors Chemistry B
Per 3 AP Spanish B
Per 4 Floriculture B
and I still have a fifth (Play Pro) which I want to drop; I just need to tell my counselor.
Anywho, for the first time since I remember, my English class intimidates me. Not because it's AP, but yes, that does play into the factor. I don't know, our teacher is, I think, pretty cool, but also strict, which is a good thing. She makes me nervous... like, I don't know if my writing's going to be good enough this time, but I want to try anyway. I can't help feeling a bit apprehensive about it, though.:P This AP class looks like it's going to be one of those classes with a lot work, homework, thinking, assignments... and as exhausting as that may be, I think it's just the slap in the face I needed.
I mean, ever since AP Bio, I got really lazy and complacent with my schoolwork, which, as we all know, is not a good thing. It was not fun last mester treading on thin ice between A's and B's. No fun at all. This mester, I'm determined to "come back" and really work hard and actually learn the things they are trying to teach me well. Well enough so I don't feel like an idiot when we're talking about it in class, at least.
So. As burdensome as AP English may look, may be, I'm actually kind of excited about it; I'm hoping I can become focused again. With that said, I don't know how much free time I'm gonna have to be online and stuff, but I'll update when I have the chance and/or have the urge/inspiration to do so.
Oh, and I finished The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. It was really sad and different from the Disney adaption (obviously), but it was still beautiful in its own tragic way. -sigh- It kinda left me a little depressed, but that's a good thing! Because it came from a book. XD
Books I'm currently reading:

I have homework from three of my four classes... I think I should go do it now. XD
