Swirling Dreams
Well, I finally updated my sm100 Saturn icon challenge with 5 new icons. :P
And, I watched Emma today! :D
-sigh- It really is a great story... I still wish Mr. Knightley would have been closer to Emma's age, but, oh well. Whatchoo gonna do?
Gwyneth Paltrow did a great job as Emma. You were right, beatlesnspurs; she did not disappoint. :) And I did like Mr. Knightley even more! :3 You rock, Laura. :D Now we're Emma fangirl buddies!! XD
I didn't like movie Frank as much as book Frank, though... I dunno... I might have imagined him different... or maybe it was his hair. XD Haha. Mr. Woodhouse was very funny ("Poor Miss Taylor!"), as always. :) Mrs. Elton was awesome; she got on my nerves, just like in the book. :P Honestly, Mr. Elton, get over it! Emma said "no" and you shouldn't have been so mean to Harriet! XP I was grinning when Mr. Knightley asked Harriet to dance! I was also grinning at this same scene in the book... XD I think the movie and book compliment each other. Yes, there were some little differences (when the gypsies attacked, for example, Harriet was not with Emma in the book whereas in the movie, Emma was with Harriet), but, overall, it's awesome. :D
My respect for Mrs. Weston also increased. I always liked her, but the movie made me really like her, especially how she's always there for Emma and always kind to Mr. Woodhouse even after she's married. I like Mrs. Weston. :)
Not much of an update... Hope it wasn't a complete bore. ^^'
