The Webster Journal had a poll this week with the question: "Frats are cool, but would you rather be a Blood or a CRIP?"
That really grinds my gears. So i wrote:
I strongly take issue with the journal's latest poll question "Would you rather be a Blood or a CRIP?"
Making light of gangs in this context is on the same level of ignorance as notorious "Ghetto" themed parties; it's a display of childish priveledge, and certainly not something I want my university's newspaper to be assocaited with.
I am dissapointed with the Journal in this instance for letting down Webster's reputation as a diverse and intelligent university.
I hope they publish it.
