You all make such a fuss; a little hostage situation, and it's the end of the bloody world. Can't say I agree to the approach. I have no tolerance for heroes and those who think if they bravely sacrifice themselves it will somehow resolve a situation. Yours truly excluded from this since feigning death was, in retrospect, a rather cruel practical joke. It was funny at the time.
But crime to combat crime is a tried and true method. If you don't believe me, ask Ashelia and Basch.
What I'm getting at in my round-about and long winded way is to get of Ashelin's case, in spite of her need to be a bloody hero. The plan was clever, if reckless, and your precious Prince was in about as much danger as a dreamhare in a room made of cotton balls. Pity it backfired.
