I'd say it was a waste of time but honestly getting a peek at some other part of this world is a rather good thing. It means 'Discedo' isn't the only piece of it.
And indeed, we saw a dead bird. Of course, no vast ruins of a long-forgotten ruler to plunder of their vast wealth, but having some further understanding of things is, as they say, a priceless treasure. Pity I prefer the kind that do have a price tag, but, alas, beggars can't be choosers.
Also, my poor cuffs are suffering horribly from our little escapade. Such filth.
