I was starving so I decide to stop at a Wendy's and order some lunch. I approach the counter where a middle aged woman is manning the register. She says, may I take your order? I smile politely and say, yes, I would like a small chili and a side salad please.
What kind of dressing? she asks.
Do you have a vinagrette?
We have a house vinagrette.
That sounds great.
The she pauses, looks me straight in the eye and says, You have a lovely personality would you like a job?
I look at her a bit perplexed and say, I just placed an order.
And she says, You're right but there aren't many people with a personality like yours.
I wasn't looking for a job at Wendy's but I am honored by her words and I feel out a application for her anyways.
Yesterday was just one of those odd yet strangely exciting days.

Note: Two more days until the Meineke Car Care Bowl where I will be sitting in row two, section 131, between the 50 and the 40. I also have backstage passes to everywhere but the field and the locker room. An excellent picture post will be posted as of early next week and it appears that despite my wishes New Years Eve will be one rocking time.
(Sorry Taylor, I know that you and I are eveophobes and that it is a time of year where everyone is going to have fun no matter what but I didn't force this one. It came natural. Happy New Year darling.)
