(no subject)
so, my mother is totally supporting my plan to transfer to Yale.. and she's encouraging me to apply early decision. We'll see about that. However, she's not supporting my idea to drop latin. She's bitching about being a quitter and wasting money and a bunch of other stuff, but as long as i don't talk about it, she doesn't care.
My stepdad gave me incentive to get really good grades. if i manage to get a B+ or higher in all of my classes this semester, then I get to go to Cancun for spring break, expenses paid!! Thats a sweet deal.. guess i should go study or something to get those grades up. lol.
Did well on my first response paper in transgender Queries, that was refreshing, so now I just have to conjure 5 more of those, write an extremely fabulous midterm and final paper, and do extremely well for my presentations that i have to do not to mention speak more in class, which i began to do. I think that it was wise of me to drop latin, because now i spend more time focused on my other classes. I just feel more energized and enthusiastic about the remaining 4 of my classes. i can do it... i can do it... i can do it... i can do it... i will do it... i will do it.. i will be in cancun for my first spring break!!
