These are some poems I wrote.... very boring summer....
If I tell you I love you
Will you think it’s a lie?
If I tell you I love you
Will you tell me goodbye?
If I tell you I love you,
Will it push you away?
Or will telling you I love you
Coerce you more to stay?
But I will tell you I love you
Because there’s nothing better to say.
I will tell you I love you
Only because I do.
And I tell you I love you
Because I’m happiest with you.
I tell you I love you
And when you hear it,
Do whatever you choose to.
Once upon a time
I never knew
why
so many people
admired me
desired me
were inspired
by me.
Once upon a time
I never guessed
I’d take a quest
and through the stress
still land
among the best.
Once upon a time
I didn’t like
what I’d see
in the mirror
staring
back at me.
Once upon a time
I didn’t have
self love
didn’t know
who I was
didn’t see myself
as loved.
Once upon a time
I used to try
to love a guy
even though
I knew
it was a lie.
