And I now have a ticket!  And I'm very excited!!!  Because I've loved his work since Sandkings, which is a long, long time before a Game of Thrones ever came out.  And don't get me started on the last few lines of Dying of The Light

Hopefully! He's always been a huge favourite of mine, and I haven't bought the latest doorstop yet. I suspect that as soon as word goes around on SFX it will sell out because of the TV show. Should be quite amusing, as Topping take their literature very seriously!

So chaoticprose tells me! They're amazing books. You should try his short story collections too, honestly Sandkings is wonderful (it won a Hugo or a Nebula at the time). chaoticprose's coming with me by the way. She says she's going to be my invisible friend!

I'd got so bored with the lists of writers they were sending through that I almost just deleted the email without opening it.
