Money and power were already his. Looks didn't do it, he could buy any model that he wanted. It was genius that did it.
Connor idolised him, which was something of a turnoff. But Connor refused his advances. That was unusual. Attractive.
It was a game after that, making Connor his conquest. Bribery, threats of dismissal, physical harm - none of that worked.
