The Visitor
It wasn't an anomaly, Connor knew that much.
The brightly sparkling thing had come racing through the anomaly just before they locked it. Now it glided carefully around the forest clearing, giving them a wide berth.
"Is it from the future?" Abby asked Matt, who looked as confused as the rest of them.
"Not mine. Maybe another one."
"Or somewhere else," Connor wondered. He watched it turn and fly back at the locked anomaly, circling it, flying at it again. And fading. Its light was definitely fading, dying.
He unlocked the anomaly. Whatever it was, it needed to go home.
