Winter is coming - Primeval Drabble
It was cold and dark and miserable. And that was just 4pm in the afternoon.
To be fair, as Jess was mostly stuck in the ARC all working day with no natural sunlight, it wasn’t that different from the rest of the year. But it was pretty horrible to go to work in the dark and go home in the dark and not see the sun except on days off.
Still, it did mean cosy nights in by the fire snuggled up on the sofa watching soppy movies.
Well, Jess was watching the soppy movie anyway. Becker had fallen asleep.
