all hours
its late and my eyes hurt.
just went and saw a new film - the island.
good, i liked it. i love sci-fi stuff, so interesting.
in one of my courses this semester we are studying
the relationship between audio and visual in film.
its really interesting and ties in well with another subject
in which we have to create soundtrack music for a short section
of footage, and also create an installation piece. exciting!
especially as another compadre of mine asked me... only last night
actually... he asked me to soundtrack a film he's working on.
i love it when a plan comes together! (A-team style)
i woke up hungover again today.
boags draught and coopers red.
take a damn bow.
i did no recording today...
but i did book a solo show, the first in nearly a year.
since the band... which is over now i think anyway.
if... well, i should say when our drummer, james, returns
from... turkey (? i think) i doubt we'll be on the same
wave length anymore. we'll still play... not sure what though, not the same thing.
i hope to have a huge groove band. massive thick tasty bass lines.
thats all i'm up for.
but the solo show... on the off chance that any sydneyites read this
its at the roxbury in glebe, 192 st johns road. not sure what time yet. will post it when i know.
i saw my friend lach tonight. he's down cos his grrl treats him wrong.
i hate how much i empathise with his situation, though mines so very different.
its good to have friends to lean on though. to be loved helps so much.
