Yup, for all intents and purposes I'm done here a facilities. I just wrote up the instructions for my job, while simultaeneously idiot proofing all of my work. I used screen-shots and repetitive step-by-tedious-step instructions to make my job doable by a chimpanze. Yes, if you can't understand how to do my job from what I've given you. You don't deserve to live, let alone get paid. I couldn't spell it out in any greater detail unless I too a picture of the key board and mouse and showed every button and the order of presses to get the job done.
*move mouse 3 inches up and 2 inches left. click with index finger. Type "I'm a moron."
I'm proud of myself. I removed a couple of really extraneous steps and made it so all the work for a year can be done in a matter of moments. Ah, math. All I have left to do is test the idiot proofness of the system tomorrow with my boss (it will undoubtedly be the harshest test that the system will encounter [<--read into this statement as you will]) and then I'm going to peace out. Working today and tomorrow will have gotten me enough money to buy a DS and that's all I wanted out of this week. Unless for some outrageous reason (like them actually giving me something to do) I'm not coming on Weds. Seriously I'm done here. Pointless.
In other news. Camping this weekend was just what I needed. It was, in the immortal words of Tony the Tiger, GrrrrREAT! Sophie, John, Chiri, and I went over to the cascades and camped for two nights. One night was out of the car and the second we back-packed in to a valley with a lake, Echo by name. We went there around this time last year and it was a hoot. I seriously wish I hadn't had my car all fucked this month because I would have gone camping more. Sophie got stung in the eye by a Bee though. Her eye is still all puffy. It was swolen shut for a bit. But, she still had a good time.
Her long board came in the mail. IT's going to take her a while to get used to the whole thing, but once she does she might be really good at it. Who knows?
I just talked to a younger co-worker for about half an hour about bands that he should check out. It helped me realize how much music I really know. Which is nice. Sometimes, in the crowd I run in I feel like a music idiot, but last semester I got back into the swing of things more than I have all of college. It was nice.
All in all. I'm wicked ready for school to start. Right now.
