So. This actor named Michael Arden (he was in Bare and will be the lead in the new Twyla Tharp/Bob Dylan musical) came and did a master class. And he came this evening with a boyfriend to see our cabaret. WAUGH! If that's not enough, he came up to Margaret and me afterwards and told us it was the most beautiful rendition he'd ever heard. THEN. His friend called Celia Keenan-Bolger on her cell phone and left a message along the lines of, "Hey Celia! We're up at Interlochen and we went to see the musical theatre majors' cabaret, and these two girls Margaret and Allyson did The I Love You Song. And it was beautiful. Say hi to Celia, girls!"
I think I babbled, "Hi Celia! We love you! You're great!" or something, but oh my God. I mean, really, oh my God.
