I'm going to be ressurectiong mynothe this week. It always kept me writing something. Mynothe is a universe that I created where a major event changed the world. All technology is swallowed up and archaic equivalents take their place. Large cities are replaced by sprawling castle towns, all simplified methods of doing things have been reverted back to their archaic equivalent and some people have been gifted with extraordinary abilities. When the event first happened many people couldn't control their new abilities and several disasters occured from this. Eventually a group of people rose up helping to bring a new order to the chaos that followed the event. They're simply known as the The Council, their numbers and names are mostly unknown at this time but they have their own agency that monitors the world and works for them. Language and culture have merged together since the event and things seem to be settling down. There are people who don't trust The Council and think that they are interested in more than just keeping order. Within a small resistance there are people who think The Council has much bigger plans. There is no current evidence of this. The agency often hires people with powers to complete large tasks. Speculation is that they don't have the manpower to handle these tasks, that they're nothing but attempts to find and recruit new members or that it could even be a launching point for adding new council members. Any or all of these could be true.
