I think while I read, more pages are added. I think I have been in Chapter Nineteen for three days now.
I am really digging the sixth Harry Potter book. I can't believe I have been waiting two whole years for this thing to come out. I remember dragging that awful fifth book everywhere with me two summers ago. My dad kept leaning over my shoulder on the train, asking me if Dumbledore died yet. I would reprimand him and tell him everything that was happening, like he actually cared or understood The Order. Now when I'm reading, he pokes his head into my room to ask me how Harry's drug running business is going (since he's been good in Potions this year) and if Dumbledore has been caught molesting the first years. Okay, so he didn't exactly say first years, but he did say at Hogwarts.
Annie and Maeve have already finished the book and they really want to discuss it with me. Annie keeps dropping hints so I have been scolding her. Last time I checked, Liz was still in the fifth but I bet you she has finished it and is currently surpassing me in this one. I am the slowest reader on earth. I think kids in kindergarten are already finished.
I'm just really excited to read more later when I go "up front". I'm still sore about what J.K. Rowling did in the prior book so hopefully she doesn't mess up again this time around. I don't think I can stand another temper tantrum from Harry or the killing of another awesome character. Though my family was thankful for that one day when I said absolutely nothing after completing OOTP.
So in the spirit of HP, I think everyone needs to be sorted into their respective houses.
Go here to sit under the sorting hat. Once again, not a surprise at all to be put into Hufflepuff. I quickly joined my fellow wussies at their table in The Great Hall.
If you think it will be funny to reply to this with the ending to Half-Blood Prince, I will punch you in the face and not feel sorry about it.
