"You never finished your post about Ireland."
"I will. I'm just busy lately but I will finish it."
"No one cares anymore," Kim tells me matter-of-factly.
Maybe they don't, maybe they do. I just love backdating. I still haven't unpacked yet. I took all the dirty clothes and toiletries out but the clean “unused” clothing is still sitting in there. As is Steve's. I feel like we're stuck in that Everybody Loves Raymond episode and I would not be surprised to see Steve togged in a wrinkled shirt from the luggage just so he doesn't have to put the bag away.
So in the interim of me not writing about the trip or the aftermath of the car accident or my book reports on two novels or my review of one of the worst movies out there currently in theaters, I'm going to give you something to watch. I promise to finish all these things and post them in order but out of order so in the meantime I want you to enjoy this video.
I'm a whore of many things: BLOGging, words, 80's music, commas, Swedish fish but there's a website out there that fascinates me and will not let me just click on one link. I start out with one thing and next thing I know three hours pass and I still have repeat charts to find. I know many of you have succumbed to its power; even Kim's job has banned it from their internet. I use it for music when Launchcast has told me I've had enough for the month. I use it for something to do when putting off responsibilities. I use it for entertainment, research, and fact finding.
I'm a Youtube whore. You can type anything into that search box and a video will come up. Type in "I eat with a spork" and just like that! a home-made movie will pop up. Sure it's of a baby using a spork then proceeding to pick his nose but it's a spork video nonetheless! Sometimes it's not necessarily what you want but close to what you have written.
Steve's brother, Chris, comes over on Tuesday to hang out and he has us watch this hilarious video. I'm not sure what part gets me but by the time a goat is mentioned my eyes are tearing from laughing so hard. Some people's talent amazes me, it really does. I'm a big fan of anime shows set to music with perfect lip-sync. I also like watching video game geeks destroy childhood games in under five minutes. I didn't know it was possible to beat Super Mario Brother's 3 that fast. And I thought "The Wizard" did it fast! I know I've made some of you suffer through Special Agent Bob and Secret Agent Steve episodes and also Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot. If you have some funny ones for me, post ‘em. I need something to do while building charts!
