I know that for me personally, it's because I don't really do Christmas, so there's nothing about the album or DVD (neither of which I own) or the tours (neither of which I've attended) that I can relate to. I do appreciate that it's important to Clay, and I understand why he likes doing the tours, but it's just frustrating as one of the few non-Christian fans out there to not be able to take part in a part of his career, when I actively take part in all of the rest of it. Clay is the first artist that I've been a huge fan of, who has put out a product that I seriously don't want. It feels very... foreign, if that makes any sense. It's like:
Three quarters of the year: ILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOU!!!
Christmas time: Yeah... I really don't care... *naps*
It feels... unnatural. LMAO ;)
And I really do miss him during all the Christmas stuff. I go from being totally addicted, eating up everything to do with his secular music & tours, to turning right off when the Christmas stuff comes up. I've tried to be interested, but I just can't do it. It's just like the fact that I have mp3s of all of his prefame demos, and I've listened to the non-religious stuff a thousand times, but I've listened to the religious stuff about one time each, and that's it. It just doesn't do anything for me.

Now I'm rambling. lol
