Dinosaurs! That's the word I was looking for! I kept looking at the awakened beings and thinking: "They all look very similar to something...but what?" I also noticed the groanings of the horde. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have thought that I was watching something else.
The minor claymore deaths caught me completely off guard. This series is quite gruesome in places but I think this went a bit too far for my tastes...well, it was enough for me to say out loud: "ewww!"
The whole Priscilla eats a human in front of Raki is lost on me. Did she kill the guy in her human form and start to eat or did she just revert back to human form to eat? I felt the scene drew out too long with Raki telling Priscilla to stop eating...with Isley looking on. The whole scene didn't make sense in my mind. 1. Raki surely would have run. He hasn't exactly known her for very long and he knows yoma can look like humans. Even with Isley coming in and saying she's an awakened being, he knows about them from Clare! He was nearly eaten by one in episode 12. Even more of a reason to run, surely? 2. What reason does Isely have to keep Raki around? Food, perhaps? 3. Priscilla should have made some response to Raki. Something, anything! I'm not convinced that Priscilla is upset about her family...well, perhaps I'm thinking manga wise. After all, Isley works under Priscilla. She can't be the sweet, oops i'm eating someone type.
I'm interested to see where this is going though. There's only 5 episodes left after all...I think we will probably be saying bye-bye manga plot.
Killing Teresa doesn't make her the strongest opponent, since Teresa was caught off guard, not to mention that the time she spent with Clare weakened her. And in her current state, I don't think Priscilla would give Clare much of a fight.
True. Just thinking about that: Teresa should have chopped Priscilla's head off if she hadn't 'softened'; and truly Priscilla at the time ranked #2, taking Irene's. Plus, the Organization or anyone else hadn't known Teresa's full power since she never showed a hint of yoki. (until that 10%)
Priscilla *could* and would have had the ability to surpass Teresa, but her *mentality* isn't very mature. She's quite unstable in some ways, and Teresa had always been more mature mentality, even if she was cold-hearted in the beginning.
