I'm not dead. My life has just been so boring and repetitive I haven't felt the need to post.
So I have a job, just not in the way I was hoping. A Quiznos is opening up near my house and I applied there since I haven't found an actual job yet. And I was hired (which I wasn't surprised by since 1, I’m a college graduate and 2, all of my past jobs have involved food service.) So it's something to do while I’m looking for something else. I'm not really looking forward to it. I'll probably be one of the oldest ones working there (most of the people filling out applications were high schoolers) and I was hoping I wouldn't have to go back to a job in food service. But like I said, it's a way to make money until I can find something else.
My sister is really stressing about her classes. She chose her major (she wants to be a teacher) late in her sophomore year and she's behind on the necessary classes she has to take. She's also going to have to go to summer school cause one class she has to take is not available next year and is only available during the summer this year. She came home this weekend to spend time away from her school. Though I didn't really see her since she was out most of the time.
The newest mortal kombat game, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, is out. And as soon as I make some money I’m going to buy it. That or ask for it for Xmas, which ever comes first. It seems really cool. There are over 60 playable characters, just about every single character from all the past mortal kombat games. There's also a feature that lets you create your own character. I definitely want it. I'm not huge into video games, but every few years one comes out that I have to get.
My novel has been going kind of slow, so I’m been working on a new writing project. Hopefully I can finish it by the end of November.
I might just go trick or treating for the hell of it tomorrow. I'll dig out one of my old masks (since I doubt people give candy to bearded 23 year olds) and go out for an hour or so. I don't know, I’ll see if I feel like it.
All right, I have a job interview tomorrow at 10am, so I’m off to bed.
