there is absolutely nothing more exhilirating and refreshing than holding a sleeping baby.. they're just so tiny and perfect and helpless.. it's scary yet amazing to know that their whole life and wellbeing is resting in your hands.. but that fear subsides to peace as their breathing becomes synchronized with your own. nothing else in the world seems to matter at that point.. all worries and troubles are forgotten for that moment..

and then, it's time to get back to the things that didn't matter for awhile, and hand the baby back to who he belongs to.. we can go back refreshed, knowing that new life is all around us..
