i hate wintertime........
we got an ice storm today. the roads are sooooo slipery i could hardly get to my car without falling down. i didn't even try to drive it.. i called into work (it's like 30 miles from my house) and told them i couldn't make it in tonight.. they said that's fine, i shouldn't try to drive today. so i didn't. and now i'm home all by myself.
but i did get some things accomplished today.. i walked over to the dollar store cuz i wanted some pop. i got some kool aide instead though. heheeee.. (which reminds me, when we go to canadia, we have to eat at perkins so we can order kool aide). and then i bought fun stuff for bethy and me.. hehe.. matching stuff, but i can't say what it is in case she reads this before i see her! heheheee.. ask me if you want to know, unless your name is beth. then i came home, and then i walked to the movie store and rented almost famous.. that's the best movie in the universe. i was going to buy it yesterday, but THEY WERE ALL GONE!!!!!!! the spot that had it's name on it was empty.. and it was only 5.99 too.. dernit. it's ok.. i'll watch it probably 3 times tonight. heh... OH! and i made a bag tonight too.. out of an old pair of jeans and an old cordoury shirt and an old crib sheet. hehe! it's completely rad. now everyone can't make fun of me for carrying a *suitcase* around. i'm very proud of that accomplishment..
i've decided that unless i'm leaving town, i'm not driving my car anymore. i'm going to walk anywhere that's in town.. it's just so much more fun that way.
but for now i have to go wash the dishes, and finish my laundry and go watch my movie. then tomorrow i have to get up early, go get my paycheck, go get my mom to cash it (i don't have a bank here, she does), then i'm off to bemidji for a very long night.. sleep a few hours, then drive to minneapolis for twothirtyeight at the quest, and then hopefully Godhead and manhood right after that at the new union. :) we'll have to see if we can make it to both.. i sure want to try!!!!!!!!!!!!
