Good morning, Deidara! This is Valeria. I hope you're feeling well this morning. If not, well... it'd be a terrible shame, what with the Obon festival being tomorrow and all. Kisame and I are really looking forward to seeing your art in action!
[ A pause, albeit a fairly brief one. ]
In fact, I was wondering if I couldn't make a belated request? For the Obon festival, I mean. And maybe another, for a later date. I think the one for Obon might be somewhat -- [ A very brief pause ] -- difficult, but I'm confident that if anyone could do it, it'd be you, so... let me know if you're interested, okay? If not, well... that's okay! It is late, after all, and you are a busy man. Thank you all the same, Deidara!

[Sasori isn't even sure why he is doing this.
But after leaving Sakura, he just feels the urge to talk to his partner. To talk to someone that he knows he can trust, someone he has a real bond with, unlike all those false friendships, that false love that he is turning his back on.
His voice is uncertain.]
Deidara.
[He freezes for a long moment. He realizes that he suddenly doesn't know what to say, especially when there's this wall that's formed between them over the course of the past couple of weeks.]
Are... [Are you all right? Are you still angry with me? Are you still with Sasuke and Anko? Are you by yourself?]
[...]
Where... [Where are you, I want to see you? Where are you going, I'll come to meet you? Where should we meet, I need to talk to you, about everything?]
[...]
What... [What are you going to do now? What's going to happen to us? What does all of what happened mean?]
[He huffs, incredibly frustrated by his inability to articulate anything at all.]
[Deidara isn't sure how to respond--first of all because there isn't a whole lot of substance to respond to, second because after the past couple of weeks, he's finding it a bit awkward to talk to Sasori at all. That's not really a normal thing. But it's still his partner. So.]
[Sasori hesitates. He's grateful for a response, for Deidara to actually be speaking to him again, but he's feeling uncertain and awkward because of everything that's happened this morning, and because he doesn't really know where they stand with one another.
