fucking ResNet
Thankfully I only have to deal with these idiots for another week. ResNet now requires AV software, which I already use, current Virus Definitions, which mine update daily...but also current Microsoft patches, of the 25 I know at least 5 or 6 that I was immune to, AND to have automatic updates turned on. I have left that off for a reason...but now in order to access the Internet I must have it on. Fucking blowholes. YAY for DECREASING security and INCREASING un-reliability of Windows.
Who remembers the CRITICAL Microsoft patch that then opened like 30 more security holes? Have they even finished patching that fiasco? Or how about the clause MS tried to sneak in years ago about disabling non MS software? I believe there was an attack on Open Office, disguised as a critical patch, and another on non IE browsers (but those could be my fualty memory. I pity all of you that have to continue to deal with the fucktards at UCI.
