A meme for the ages

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Alph's on the short side of average, just proud of the average woman, but tall people like Heath and Vanessa tower over him. Then again, he's only about 18 and might still grow a bit. He's not incredibly muscular, but it solidly built - you have to be at least so strong to move around in armor, after all.

2. How old is he?
18, though he was 17 during the main game. This is a guess, he's never given a canon age.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Alph stands straight, both from combat training and an instilled sense of pride. He does like to slocuh into a ball of loose muscles when soaking in a hot spring, but then, who doesn't?

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Alph is a dragon, and has all the vitality that implies. He's fit, has endurance to spare, and only rarely gets sick.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Alph isn't you'd call clumsy, but he does have a rather heavy tred. Good for knocking underbroush out of one's way, but not exactly graceful or stealthy.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Still in his late teens, Alph is boyishly good-looking. Not exactly handsome or drop-dead gorgeous, but enough to get interest from his age group... and Vanessa.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Alph is fair-skinned; I imagine he's usually a little tanned from spending plenty of time in the great outdoors. Though that leads to pretty interesting tan lines around where his armour sits.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
A light greyish-brown. Alph keepts his hair short and out of the way. It's scruffy and not well-cared-for enough to be soft, but Lucia makes him keep it clean enough to not be dirty or greasy.

9. What color are his eyes?
Pale blue.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Interestingly for his species, no. His power as a dragon was never forced to manifest, so he's still on a completely human chassis.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
His shoulders, especially the front of the right,, where he braces his rifle to shoot. The fact that's also his sword arm helps.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Alph keeps his silver and blue Rym armor polished to a gleam. Between encounters, he's comfortable wearing the undervest and pants. Away from combat, he tends to wear whatever's comfortable - usually a shirt and slacks in earth tones.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His Rym armor, being provided by the planet and all, fits perfectly, and being a borderline tykebomb raised for combat, he's comfortable wearing it anywhere. He prefers his casual clothes slightly loose, and if he's already in the situation and mood to be wearing them, odds are he's not going to care much how he really looks in them.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Armor while travelling and monster-hunting, casuals when he's holed up at an inn or at home.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Briefs. Minimizes the chace of a painful accident with his armor's leg plates.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Something of a high baritone. Not squeaky, but far from deep and intimidating.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
His speaking voice is quite loud, though still safe for indoor use. He does tend to speak a little quickly, though.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Nothing to speak of.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Alph is completely fluent in the common langue, but that's it. Incidentally, it seems to be the only one used in his world.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Alph tends to get words and meanings tangled if he's put on the spot. This goes double if there are emotions involved.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He's closer to eloquent than not, but lapses out of that quite noticably when he's flustered.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Alph's primarily street-smart, and knows enough about tactics to make a good battlefield leader. He's well-read, but most of that is church propaganda, making it moot.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He's an on-the-spot thinker nearly all the time, though he will pull up and listen if someone else has another plan.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Alph is idealistic to a fault, and tends to rely on intuition. He is capable of reasoning, but needs someone to slow him down and help him bounce ideas around. Once he'd decided on a course of action, he'll stick to it.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Being indoctrinated by the church from a young age, Alph is very literate and knows quite a bit of history. The integrity of these learnings, however, is an open debate.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Alph knows enough about battlefield tactics to lead by default in pressure situations. Being one of the few who use guns, he also knows his rifle and it's workings inside-out. Having been deluded about the nature of his world for much of his life, he's guninely interested in learning more of it's true nature from the Witches.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Alph is endlessly cheerful and it's difficult to put him in a bad mood for very long. He's mostivated and tends to remain emotionally level in most situations.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Strangers are potential friends Alph hasn't met yet. While he doesn't exactly seek out new people to socialize with, he won't hesitate to offer a smile when introduced.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React. He tends to pick a broad goal, then work towards it, dealing with problems as they crop up.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight, though if he realizes he's outpowered and nobody will be hurt by his absence, he's not afraid of a quick Exit Stage Left.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He grew up with Leon. Practical jokes, wisecracks, and sending people on the occasional Snip Hunt are all things he find amusing.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
None.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The two biggest were accepting his role as Lucia's Rym, and accepting Heath's betrayl and vowing to stay he course even against that.

14. What does he fear?
losing people close to him, especially Theo or Lucia.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Alph hopes to create a peaceful world, which is why he makes a living out of monster-hunting, even after breaking the back of the problem during the major conflict.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Alph is deeply, seeply ashamed that justfor a second, when everything was at stake, he was genuinely ready to let the world die rather than save it and live without Lucia.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Orphan. Never knew them.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
His younger brother Theo. The two of them are tight; Alph almost clocks in at overprotective.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Not applicable.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Alph considers the Garden Children his siblings, and Heath a surrogate dad. This hasn;t change in the slightest for Cecille, even when he true nature came to light.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Leon is perhaps Alph's best friend ever. They grew up together in the Ever Guardan; Alph was the "We probably shouldn't" to Leon's "C'mon, it'll be fun!"

6. Does he have other close friends?
Alph is on good terms with the Witches. Kinda natural after warring alongside them.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Everyone is Alph's friend until they prove otherwise. He's almost overly trusting, but that's yet to bite him in the ass.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Theo is Alph's number one priority, but he'd do just as much for his friends, especially the other Garden Children.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single. He's too young to be married, but he's in a comfortable relationship with Lucia.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
That said, everyone's favourite Dawn Witch is a bit on the Tsundere side, so they do bicker quite a bit. But despite all the disagreements, they are thoroughly into each other. Saving each other's lives on multiple occasions will do that.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Alph's upbringing was rather isolated; Saki and Cecille were too much like family for him to crush on. Lucia's his first and so far only big interest.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Alph primarily want someone who he can be honest with, and who will be honest with him. If they've got nothing to hide, then they'll know if they're right for each other or not.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
At his age I would rather hope not. He hasn't thought about future generations yet.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Alph and Leon are firendly rivals when it comes to combat prowess. All og alph's true enemies died during the war.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Alph clocks in at a shaky zero, wavering towards a 1. The Luminous Church comes across as the kind of place than frowns upon homosexuality, though with that particular belief system obliterated he mightn't feel so bound. He does, however, already have a girlfriend.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Despite the fact they occasionally get ribbed for it, he and Lucia haven't lost it together yet. Alph is certainly ready to try, but knows it's a big step and would never put that sort of pressure on Lucia. (Out of fear for his personal safety if nothing else.)

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Pretty much undefined, though he's too well-mannered and chivalrous to be particularly adventurous in any case.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
No information available, unfortunately.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Alph used to be intense religious and would reject all other spirtuality, but has done a pretty defined about-face (having a personal hand in killing God will do that). Now he places more blief in the spirtuality of the Witches, but knows that's their domain, so he doesn't trouble himself with it much.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Alph's main ethical code is loyalty. He'd never betray anyone close to him, and having it happen is a staggering blow he has trouble coming to terms with (see: Heath).

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
After having the intense Xenophobia of the Luminous church flipped on its head, Alph is much more tolerant of other views. He is still a bit bitter about the old dogma, though, and might make faces if he hears people preaching about it.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Absolutely bupkis. After discovering Witches weren't the homicidal maniacs he was led to believe, and he and his brother weren't exactly human, Alph treats pretty much any race with respect. Exception: monsters, those these are the mindlessly violent sort we're referring to here.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Alph lives comfortably - the new government allows him to claim monster bounties, and considering personal friends are pretty much in charge now, poverty isn't a real threat.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Despite saving the world, Alph is still an everyman; being portrayed to the world as a traitor every step of the way, neutrality is easier for everyne to swallow than fame. (Though, his name is going into the new church record books, so a hundred years down the line that may change.)

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Alph still recides in the every garden. It's not particularly flashy, but well-kept. He lives there with Lucia, Theo, and anyone else he knows who needs a flophouse. Home, on the other hand, is wherever he's surrounded by friends.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Gifts for Lucia (if his friends spot him buying another redonkulously expensive, mostly ornamnetal broom, they know it's an apology offering), treats for Theo, and helping anyone who needs it. He has whan he needs to live, he's not that attached to any extra coin.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
Mopping up the monsters still in the world after the conflict. Being a dragon, one blessed with the world's own power no less, he is supremely qualified. The thanks of the people he keeps safe make it the best job in the world to him.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Alph reads a suprising amount, though he also likes to tran and spar with anyone he knows - he was raised as a soldier, so not training for an extended period makes him antsy.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Alph was raised to keep himself healthy for battle, or to use the saying of the week, he believes those that don't eat before batle are eaten by battle. He take three square meals a day, and he actually quite likes his greens. He also doesn't mind eggs, but he's not nearly as big a fan as Theo. And despite recently coming of age, he still doesn't drink.

Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:

1. Color? Yellow.
2. Smell?
3. Time of day? Bright, sunny noon.
4. Season? Spring.
5. Book?
6. Music?
7. Place? The ever Garden is still a favorite place of his.
8. Substance?
