Woke up early, after getting to sleep not much before, and felt dizzy and out of it, so called in sick. Started to feel a bit better by later afternoon (with much sleep in the meantime), then realised why. Combination of 'mild panic' over impending final assessment rapidly looming and it was the Solstice. For the last few years the Solstice has always made me feel a bit out of sorts, should have been more prepared for it.
Anyways, Year 7 reports were finished at the weekend and I have trawled through my comps files and managed to print out a veritable stack of stuff that I am fairly sure will fit some of the QTS standards. So my folder should no longer look as moournful.
