Of gardens ...
The feeling of boredom continues, I'll admit that it is starting to lessen but not quickly enough for my liking. Still boredom stores pent up energy and it has been released on a section of the border that has been troubling me all year. Said border is now stripped and awaits planting with irises, lilies and other tall spiky plants at a suitable time. Most of the occupants of that border are now in several pieces, especially one big b*****d of a plant that had me screaming for dynamite. Rolling around in the mud wrestling with a plant is not my idea of fun, especially not when I end up flat on my proverbials when its tap root unexpectedly gives way.
Exciting life I lead ... not :-)
In non-garden related activity I've been playing around with the Fightbox software from the beeb, bit simple and buggy but it's got a bit if charm, in the way only the beeb can manage. Should be good for another couple of days until the charm wears out.
Still back to late night surfing,
