At first I was a little "Excuse me?" which quickly turned into an "Whoa, god damn woman, that's just hot." You probably write the hottest stuff I know, rolled together with a good portion of characterization, emotion etc. And you're also imspiring my plot bunnies.

Oh, thank you so much! What a compliment! This was a hard story for me to do as I don't write torture fics, so it's wonderful to hear it worked for you. Oh, plot bunnies? Like, what? *bounces on heels*

What plot bunnies? Well... I signed up for seasonal_spuffy and I'm going to use a never started idea that I had. It's get nothing to do with this but I'll ve have to make a slightly "darker" approach than I usually right, so...

I loved this insight. So true. Buffy's love life has dealt her a great deal of humiliation and powerlessness, and we all know how things roll down hill...

You did a great job keeping the tension, and the hawt, omg. I was just talking to a friend about how torture fics are not my thing, but I love this. I think it's all about the power play and the emotion whether something is harsh but hawt or just ugly.

Ah, you are a very perceptive reader, my dear. Thanks for the quotage up there. Comments like yours are very helpful.

As for torture fics, I'm pretty much with you on it not being 'my thing.' I read dreamsofspike's work because she's wonderful, but that's usually as far as my foray into torture goes. So, this was new for me. I usually write angst and sex. lol, which was pretty much what I did here, except I threw in the torture and upped the anti on the violence of the sexuality portrayed. I'm very glad you felt the tension - I really wanted to keep that sense of urgency in the fic. Emotional motivation is key for me, and that's something I'm very dedicated to. Sex ain't interesting unless it says something about the people doing it, IMO.
