1. I am so glad this week is over. With salaried position comes getting to work an hour to 1.5 hours earlier than I had been. My body needs to get used to it. I have been quite the sleepy girl. Heh, I was going to drag her out one way or another. And we definately had a good time. It was so darned hot the we ended up hanging in her apartment for a few hours chatting and looking at scrapbooks and playing with her kitty. Then Gus came to pick us up and we drove to DC with the top down. Our hair was flying everywhere! I met up with my high school friend and his college buddy and we all ate and then heade back to his apartment, sat on his terrace, and drank win until about 11:30 or so. Hopefully, E will get to do much more exploring. Though meeting Gloria Gaynor is pretty cool, I have to admit. Perks of working with the music industry, eh?

I hope you're enjoying Alaska! My mom has been dying to takea cruise up there. Can't wait to see pics.

Thanks. Hee, I'm glad you like kiwi. I'm also thinking of buying an echidna plush. They're weirdos, too. Currently I have a manta ray, moose, armadillo and kiwi on my bed. A bit of a freak fest, really ;)

Alright, so I was only a little drunk. I'm sure the 90 degrees and the sheen of sweat didn't lend itself well to me being the picture of sobriety either. Good thing kiwi was there to use as a hand towel to mop up my sweaty brow. He had passed out by that point.

Btw, we ended up leaving at 2:30 on Sunday. It was just too damn hot and we couldn't walk around. We ended up hitting minimal traffic and were back in NYC by 8:00. We made good time!
