Hee. I always feel jealous of people's vacations. I want to go everywhere. This was the first time I was down in the Caribbean area, and it's pretty amazing seeing that water. It really is that blue. Like, toothpaste aqua. Another perk is that it's not too far by plane and it's cheap, so yay.

Welcome back to winter, babe. :D
Ugh, don't I know it. I'm watching all the confetti-like flakes that are coming down right now. It looks like New Year's all over again.

I loved the drabble and am now trying to regain my normal color after seeing your pics, because green doesn't become me :D

LOL. Too cute. The Meditaranean is very fetching, though! I remember the water being very beautiful when I was in Greece.

More pics soon. The pyramids there are just as impressive as the ocean.

your vocabulary, and ability to use it in such a way that is sophisticated, but not pretentious--or difficult to read--impresses me often in your writing, as it does here. this is a lovely snapshot.

you look amazing in that picture.

I use big words gooood. And ride the special bus. But, yes, pleased that you liked this. I just whipped it up in maybe 10 minutes with the thought, after I read it, that it was in fact terribly pretentious. I'm glad it didn't come off that way. It was mostly me trying to cram as many lovely water metaphors into as few words as I could.

you look amazing in that picture.
Thank you! I really like it, too. The key? Strategic shadows that make my A cups look majorly booby and my slightly flub belly disappear. Haha!

I know. The pic really captures it, too. No filters or effects. It was that blue!

Hee. Yeah, that and watching a crapload of Blue Planet! Only a week until Planet Earth arrives... yes!

Glad to see you back! I was starting to worry you'd been kidnapped by Mexicans.

Well, there was that whole thing with the drug cartel, but the less said about it the better.

I had a lovely time. I'll put together a little narrative with pics about my adventures this weekend. Mayan pyramids for the win!
