I haven't been reading any fic for the last two weeks and probably won't be reading much for the next several as I try to work on my ficathon entry, but I would like some fresh material for when I'm ready to plunge back in.
I'd love it if each of you could recommend an author and a fic. The fic does not have to be by the author you rec and I don't mind if it's old. You all generally know what I like, so I leave it up to your best judgement. My only preference is that I would like to be recced authors who are a little more obscure in fandom that I might not be familiar with. A brief explanation of why you think I might like any given author or fic would be awesome as well.
