Well, I tried the ceiling idea on one of my earlier classes yesterday and I must say I'm glad it went off without a hitch, which was a pleasant surprise due to the fact that today we were working with levitation spells and I was sure I'd have at least a few bumps. In a fantastic display of good fortune however, the only injury was me tripping over my cloak again. Note to self: Get that cloak hemmed before my bonked nose becomes a permanent facial feature. I believe after that little trial I'll start working the idea into my other classes (much to some of my student's apparent chagrin). After class I went back to my room where I decided it would be best for me to practice my tickle charms before next Tuesday's demonstration. Tragically there was no one else present so I had to experiment on my own two feet, and that was several hours well spent. I haven't laughed so hard since that incident with the dungbomb last month!

Looking about it seems that House Elves are quite the controversy this year, as we have three factions vying for supremacy over the matter. Personally, I prefer to get things myself rather than "my elf" (HaHa!). I mean, why send for an elf when a charm spell works just as well and on occasion has a tiny puff of smoke attached to it? Hmm, enough politics talk though now onto business. Currently I'm grading some left over exams from the other day and I must say these students never cease to amaze me. Bravo to all of you, if these tests are any indication of how your finals will go then I'm in for a treat.
